I'm Laura: Owner, designer and seamstress of Glowing Poppy. I'm first and foremost a full-time mama of a spunky, delightful kiddo--Poppy (the namesake of my business).

I have always had a true love for vintage clothes and handmade unique treasures. Through my motherhood journey I found how important it is to have a creative and productive outlet of my own. So, I decided to combine my affinity of heirloom lines and reclaimed fabrics with my ability to sew and began my dream of Glowing Poppy.

Creating sustainable, charming, one-of-a-kind pieces to wear and re-wear for years to come brings me so much joy! My main focus and goal is to provide an alternative to supporting the harmful fast fashion industry by breathing new life into vintage linens and textiles. I truly love reimagining these forgotten pieces of yesteryear and witnessing them go through beautiful transformation--blooming into a lovely treasure for another lifetime.
